1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Smart Solar Energy's monitoring platform and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Subscription Services & Pricing

Monthly Monitoring Fee

£30 per month — This fee covers:

  • • Real-time energy monitoring and data analytics
  • • Cloud data storage and processing
  • • AI-powered forecasting and insights
  • • G100 compliance reporting
  • • Regular platform updates and maintenance

⚠️ This fee is non-refundable as it covers ongoing data monitoring services.

Hardware Deposit

Our intelligent monitoring hardware (brain box) is provided as part of the service. The hardware remains property of KIMOCKS AT ONLINE (PTY) LTD and must be returned upon service termination.

3. Money-Back Guarantee

100% Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with our product, we offer a full refund under the following conditions:

  • • You must return the intelligent hardware (brain box) in good working condition
  • • Request must be made within 30 days of service activation
  • • Hardware must be returned with original packaging (if possible)
  • • No physical damage or tampering to the device

✓ Refund will be processed within 14 business days after hardware is received and inspected

Note: Monthly monitoring fees already paid are non-refundable as they cover data services already rendered.

4. Support Services

Standard Support (All Customers)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM GMT

Response Time: 20 minutes - 1 hour during business hours

Availability: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Response Time (Day): 20 minutes - 1 hour

Response Time (Night): 1 - 2 hours

Includes dedicated IT team for urgent issues and system emergencies

5. Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to:

  • • Scheduled maintenance (notified in advance)
  • • Internet connectivity issues
  • • Force majeure events
  • • Third-party service provider outages

6. Hardware Obligations

The intelligent monitoring hardware provided remains the property of KIMOCKS AT ONLINE (PTY) LTD:

  • • You must not tamper with, modify, or reverse-engineer the hardware
  • • You are responsible for the hardware while in your possession
  • • Damage or loss may result in replacement charges
  • • Hardware must be returned upon service termination
  • • Failure to return hardware may result in additional charges

7. Data Accuracy

While we provide accurate real-time monitoring, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy due to sensor limitations, network issues, or external factors. Data should be used for informational and optimization purposes. Critical decisions should involve verification with additional sources.

8. Limitation of Liability

KIMOCKS AT ONLINE (PTY) LTD shall not be liable for:

  • • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • • Loss of profits or business opportunities
  • • Energy system failures or malfunctions
  • • Damages exceeding the total fees paid in the last 12 months

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement:

  • • Customer: 30 days written notice
  • • Company: Immediate termination for breach of terms or non-payment
  • • Upon termination, hardware must be returned within 14 days
  • • Outstanding fees remain payable

10. Intellectual Property

All software, hardware designs, documentation, and platform features are the intellectual property of KIMOCKS AT ONLINE (PTY) LTD. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa (company registration location). For customers in the United Kingdom, disputes may also be subject to UK consumer protection laws where applicable. Any disputes shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels in the respective jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
